Hello, I recently changed phone and after reinstalling Firefox I realised that collections are not visible on the homepage. To be clear, I'm aware they do not sync, I added everything manually and it worked just fine, they just don't appear below the shortcuts. I saw a few other posts on the matter, some were able to fix it by toggling some secret settings (which have been changed since as far as I can tell), someone recently had them reappear on their own, but I've had no such luck.

I am using BIitwarden Passward manager. When i tried to install extension browser I was unsuccessful. Being new user of such apps please guide me to complete installation.

Recently, for some reason, my Send to Device on mobile doesn't send the tab to Desktop. I'm running the latest Firefox on PC and mobile (Galaxy S25+ latest Android version).

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling mobile, logging out/reconnecting my Firefox account on PC and rebooting but nothing seems to work. I CAN send from PC to mobile device; just not the other way around. Started maybe a month or so ago without warning.

Firefox (148.0.2) for android (15). I have failed download and can not restart nor delete it - it ignores restart and delete buttons. It's just been sitting here "In progress" for months. How to get rid of it?

I've been using Firefox for 15 years, both on PC and Android. Recently, when using Firefox, I noticed that when I quit Firefox, the corresponding entries in the timeline are no longer deleted. You can see this under the setting of the recently closed tabs. A complete deletion should have taken place after the complete termination of Firefox. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. I use a Galaxy S26 Ultra with the latest Android releases and also the latest version of Firefox from the Play Store. The setting of my Firefox instances is always such that when you stop Firefox, the timeline of open tabs, the history of open tabs, is always completely deleted. Can you help?

Whenever I bookmark a page on the android app these days, it always saves it to a specific folder. It used to save it to whichever folder I last bookmarked a page to, but it doesn't do that anymore; it's like it's got stuck and by default now, only saves to a folder that I rarely want to save to. That means that every time I bookmark a page, I have to edit the bookmark and save it to the folder I actually want to save it to.

As a result of this, I now have to edit at least 90% of my bookmarked pages so that they end up in my preferred folder.

Is there a fix please? Many thanks.

When you go to bookmark something, it usually automatically saves to the last bookmark folder you saved something to, but withing the last couple of weeks, everything keeps defaulting to the same folder. Now if I have multiple tabs I want to save to the same folder, I have to keep searching for that particular folder multiple times in a row rather than Firefox keeping that as the current default. I haven't changed any settings lately, and I can't find any way to fix this

I'm hitting a weird lag in Firefox on my Xiaomi 17 Ultra (HyperOS 3.1 / Android 16). When I tap a link, there's a massive "dead zone" where nothing happens for anywhere between 5 and 30 seconds. The browser doesn't freeze—I can still scroll the current page or open the menu—but the actual request for the new URL just sits there. After this delay, the page finally snaps and loads instantly.

It feels like a DNS handshake timeout or some weird socket hang.

Device Info:

   Device: Xiaomi 17 Ultra

   OS: HyperOS 3.1 (based on Android 16)

   Connection: Happens on both Wi-Fi and 5G.

What I've noticed:

   It’s intermittent but frequent.

   Already tried toggling "DNS over HTTPS" (DoH) in settings, but the hang persists.

   Chrome doesn't seem to have this specific delay on the same device.

   Battery optimization for Firefox is set to "No restrictions" in HyperOS settings.

Is there a known issue with the networking stack on Android 16 or specific about:config tweaks for HyperOS to stop the system from throttling background requests? Any logs I should pull from about:networking to help debug this?

I've noticed that on using the app that it stalls. I have to toggle aeroplane mode to check to kickstart it back to life.

I can confirm it's not a phone or internet issue as I can switch out to chrome or share the stalling page to Chrome and it works immediately. This happens on different pages so it's not a page specific issue. I've even noticed it hanging on switching to a different app and then back, where the page suddenly stops functioning or loading.

I hate using chrome, I'd prefer to keep using Firefox, but I can't stand these constant pauses.

My device is a Xiaomi 15, I'm using the latest Firefox. I'm using the latest Android version. My Firefox app has only 1 extension installed ublock origin.

I installed Mozilla Firefox on my phone, but I cannot log in or create a new account. When I try to sign up or log in, it does not work properly. Please help me fix this issue.
